Who's kid is this!?!?!?!?

Well, that does it! I am now convinced that my oldest was switched at birth!
OK, so you'd have to overlook the fact that he looked IDENTICAL to me at his age for the first two years of his life to believe this theory but still...I'm suspicious!

I was walking down the block to get Timmy from school yesterday afternoon as he begins running towards me YELLING: "MOM!!! GUESS WHAT I GOT TODAY. THE GREATEST THING EVER!!"
Mom: What?
Strange switched at birth child: "HOMEWORK!"

Yes that's right my six year old son is so excited about homework that he was running and screaming. And he even did 5 pages of it when we got home, with only minimal distractions.
Therefor he simply can NOT be mine. It's just genetically impossible! Despite the fact that I do consider myself intelligent and (at times) did very well in school, I have never once in my life been excited for homework. Yeah sure, maybe a few cool projects were interesting enough to inspire me. But I can say with confidence that I have never run, jumped or screamed over getting homework, OK well not in a good way at least!

  2. aw that's so adorable! that's REALLY good that he loves homework that much! I remember when I was that young I never actually exclaimed aloud how excited I was about homework, but I remember I did feel soooo 'cool' when I first started getting homework...like I was part of the 'in' crowd..the 'big kids' LOL *megan*

  4. I am betting the excitment will wear off but I could be wrong.
I posted my list of favorite things that start with the letter F. It was harder then I thought. Took a lot of thinking. A good exercise for my tiny brain! LOL!
