Who took it? And where'd they'd put it, because I could use it back! Seriously, I don't know what happened. I think part of the problem has been that the summer weather has barely started but I feel like we haven't done any "summer" stuff this year and we're already working on back to school.
I HAVE to find the time to get the family to the zoo and Six Flags. These were the two promises I made before summer. Zoo shouldn't be too hard, if all else fails we'll go to the little one close to home but I'd really like to get to the Milwaukee zoo. (I want to see the Butterfly garden.) But I'm going to have to do some saving (somehow!?!?) to manage Six Flags. But Timmy earned a free ticket through school and he'll be heartbroken if he can't go and I'll feel really bad if we don't take Johnny. So we'll just have to sell a vital organ or something and make it work. I'd also like to get to a fair, but we'll just have to see if we can squeeze it in.
How about you...what do you do that makes you feel like it's just not summer if you miss it?
I AGREE!!! im freaking out that summer is 1/2 over already! honestly where DID the time go??? :-/.
ReplyDeleteSome summer 'musts' around here with the kids include many trips to the pool across the street, a few parades, state fair, sometimes 6 flags if we can fit it in, renting a cottage for a week(ish), going to the zoo, and lots of ice cream lol :)
its so hectic trying to fit all that in tho, so i feel ur pain. its nutzoooooooo around here!

Summer has flown! This year I actually made a list so I would be able to check things off as we did things and also to focus us! Let's see...baseball game, fair, zoo,waterpark, camp in yard,King's Island, feed the ducks... We have 2boys 3 and 4. Still lots to do!!
