Our Easter

Although I was beginning to get nervous as we got to Friday and we had get to confirm any plans for Easter Sunday, it turned out to be a very nice day.

We were a little rushed, and I MAY have been a little stressed as we very quickly did our eggs Saturday night. But at least I don't have to live with the guilt of not having done them at all.

Sunday morning, this is what the boys found from the Bunny.
A basket for each, as well as a How To Train Your Dragon hooded towel. Then they each got one special item.

Timmy got a Diary of a Wimpy Kid book

Johnny got Alvin and the Chipmucks, the Squeakquel

Bryan got a Max and Ruby DVD but wouldn't show me it. So here he is as a dragon.
After they found the few plastic eggs I filled (I'd gotten rid of them last year and totally forgot) we watched Alvin and the Chipmunks and then got ready for church. I think we all clean up pretty nicely, don't you?
Bryan LOVES Timmy.

But he doesn't always love sharing the spot light.

And sometimes he just wants nothing to do with all this photo stuff!

Since Bryan wouldn't cooperate for a group shot of a nice individual shot, I opted for a photo of me with each of my boys.

After church we tok a short road trip (just over an hour) to spend the afternoon with family. They are SOO good to us. This is my cousin (my great uncle's daughter, whatever particular cousin that makes her) who brought out a big tub of train stuff from when her boys (now in college and a high school senior) were little. The boys loved it. And her boys were entertained by my guys silliness!!

Everyone ready for dinner, which was delicious and doubly good because...I didn't cook it!!!

Hope you all had a great Easter!!

  2. Wow, you got some awesome shots...especially of the boys together in their matching outfits! You look beautiful in the pics of you with each one, too. :) I love all the blue! It's so rare that we're actually in a picture with our kids, so those are very special...even if you don't get to hold the camera.
