Five Lessons Every Kid Should Learn.

Lesson #1: If Mom's not happy, NO BODY is happy.  For this reason, it is best to follow all rules, whether direct or implied AND occasionally spoil Mom.

Lesson #2: There are lots of people in our world who do not care about you, but MANY who do.  There are lots of people who will intentionally try to hurt you, and even more who will hurt you unintentionally because they simply don't care.  But the people who really matter, they will be here for you no matter what.

Lesson #3: It is a mother's right, obligation even, to embarrass her children.  Children are a lot of work, as mother's we give up a lot because of our love of our children and therefor we claim the right to be embarrassing in public.  If you don't like it...refer to Lesson #1.

Lesson #4:  Your mother is not a over bearing nut job, she is simply trying to protect you from all harms, whether real or imagined.  You simply do not need to understand the reasons for everything we won't allow you to do.  Just trust us, it makes us happy when you do and remmeber....lesson #1.

Lesson #5:  If you think your mother sounds like a broken record, try doing what she said the first time.  It will save you additional eye rolls and heavy sighs and it will save her from FEELING like a broken record and as we know....lesson #1.
