LEGOLAND Discover Center Chicago review

This week we went to LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago for the first time and LOVED it.  Located in the suburb of Schaumburg just outside Woodfield Mall, is a Lego fan's paradise.  We spent 3 hours with the boys there and easily could have spent 3 more.

From the amazing Lego creations in Miniland, a miniature model of Chicago made from nearly a million Lego's, and Jungle Expedition, a jungle full of Lego animals to the super 4D movie experience, there is literally something for everyone.  Your Lego fan will enjoy the chance to work with Master Builders or race their own creation on a race track.  While your littler ones can play in a (clean) playland type area or build with LARGE soft blocks or standard toddler blocks.  And there's Dragon Quest, a ride that's perfect for all ages, and the Lego Factory to keep you busy for hours.

With Birthday Party rooms available LEGOLAND Discovery Center would be a great place to hold a party.
I have to say that we loved all of it but the thing that struck me most was how amazing the staff was.  They were friendly and helpful and absolutely wonderful with the kids.  Sadly, I find that this is the case at fewer and fewer places these days.

LEGOLAND would be an especially perfect yucky weather day activity.  Just be warned...you WILL exist through a Lego lover's paradise of a Lego Store.  You could easily shop til you drop store, but we were able to get something that each of the boys loved within their $10 budget.

We will definitely be heading back, as the boys weren't even in the car before they were asking when we could go again. Maybe we'll see you there!
