30 Days of Truth: Day 1

Day 1: Something you hate about yourself.

I have to say, there are MANY things I hate about myself.  Many of these things revolve around the way I look, more specifically how much I weigh.  I hate that I have in the past committed to changing that and have had success, yet I can't bring myself to commit to it again.  I hate that I am not a good cook. I really don't like cooking. Clearly, I like eating but cooking is VERY low on my list.  I'd rather clean a toilet than cook dinner. But since I DO like living and feeding my children, I do cook. Sometimes!
I hate that I lack patience, especially when it come to my family.  I never thought I'd be the crazy yelling mom. But I often am. Sometimes it's founded, but sometimes it's simply just that I am overwhelmed and I take it out on my family.
I hate that I am pretty unforgiving.  I can be very judgmental of certain people. Once someone has really turned me off, everything they do or say is seen through my preconceived notion of their intentions.

**In case you missed my post here, I am taking part in a challenge called 30 Days of Truth. Each day in November I will write about a given topic of truth as it relates to me.

  1. I don't like cooking either! I love baking but cooking...not so much. Fortunately, my boyfriend cooks most of the time. I'm digging that!

  2. Wow... are you my twin?!?!? I'd list the exact same things here. I guess you took all the good answers so I have to find something else? Hehe...

(hugs!) We all have our "mad mommy moments" the good news is that we seem to remember the bad stuff more than the kids. At least, that's the consensus around here.

    Take care!

  3. Now see I LOOOOOOVE cooking! LOL I too lack patience and I am a yeller...I hate that. I am also very opinionated and form judgements on people, many times, much too quickly. :o(

I am so glad to be doing this with you.
