Bambi Blu-ray Review

Bambi (Two-Disc Diamond Edition Blu-ray/DVD Combo in Blu-ray Packaging)

The boys watched Bambi on Blu-ray last Friday while they were all home sick. The resounding response was that they loved it, except "that sad part." It's amazing to me how as happy an adorable as the rest of that movie is, that one small but very effective part stays with every person that watches it.

I, too, will always remember the first time I watched Bambi and my heart broke for poor Bambi. But I'll also never forget learning about being twitterpated. Which happened to be a long time before I learned about Twitter or became addicted but that's a whole other story. Back in the day, when Disney dealt with love in a totally different way than they do now. I love the emotion and the innocence of movies like Bambi. For me re-watching Bambi now that I'm mom, I feel the pain for Bambi even more deeply. If you haven't watched Bambi since you were little, you should give it a new look!

I haven't watched this in ages. Time to pick this up now that it's on Blu-ray for my daughter - she'll love it!
