GoalForIt.com Chore and Behavior Charts Review

I must admit, I have tried a few different tracking and reward methods to deal with the kids behavior and responsibilities.  My kids don't have very many chores to do and I'm fairly inconsistent when it comes to making them do the ones they do have.  I have created chore charts on my own and printed them but they usually die soon after the first week, if I even make it that far.  At one point we tried the marble system thanks to Super Nanny.  It actually worked well until it came to deciding the rewards, and remembering how much they were supposed to cost etc.  So we scrapped that idea too.  There have even been previous attempts to use websites for tracking.  But I like GoalForIt.com a lot.  It's super easy to set up and use.  Each chart can be personalized with graphics for each child's interests.

Then you create their chart using any combination of chores, responsibilities and healthy habits that are applicable.  You will also assign a value to each task.  The best part for me is that while you can print these charts, you can also sign in to the website and quickly click on the items that are completed that day.  As they complete tasks they accrue "Moolah" which they can trade in for the rewards that you designate.  For our house hold I started with three rewards, one that can be easily achieved in a day, one that can be earned in a week and one they will have to save up for.  All this is done on the site, so I don't have to remember what I 'owe' them or what they did to earn something.  Since I have my smart phone on me all the time it's super simple to sign up and update their charts.  And of course, it's also close by so they can ask to sign in and CASH OUT.  The only thing that would make it more perfect would be if it also included a reminder/alarm so I can actually remember when their 20 minutes of video games (one of their rewards) is actually up.  I tend to get busy and forget!

GoalForIt.com also has great other trackers such as To Do Lists and Goal tracking, but I've really only checked out the Chore Chart.
