Thomas the Tank Engine™ To Visit August 19-21st and 27-28th

UNION, IL Who moves faster—steam engines or diesels?  This year Thomas the Tank Engine is out to prove that “steamies,” like himself, have a need for speed as he pulls into IL Railway Museum for the Day Out With Thomas™: Leader of the Track Tour, presented by HIT Entertainment, a worldwide leader in children’s entertainment.  This fun-filled event offers preschoolers and their families the opportunity to take a ride with a 15-ton replica of Thomas the Tank Engine, star of the popular Thomas & Friends™ series. Children will ride along with their favorite hero on his latest adventure.  The tour, now in its 16th year, will make stops in more than 45 US cities and is expected to welcome more than one million passengers in 2011.

WHAT:                  • A 25-minute (approximate) ride with Thomas the Tank Engine
                                • An opportunity to meet Sir Topham Hatt, Controller of The Railway
                                • Activities for the whole family, including arts & crafts, storytelling, video viewing, live

We attended this event several years ago when the older boys were about 2 and 3 and they loved it.  I can't wait to take them again this summer.  It really is a full day of activities that your little train lover with enjoy.
