Zumba Kicks A$$

Or at least, Zumba kicks MY a$$, in the best possible way though!  Last night I went to Zumba for the third time.  (After I spent about 45 minutes in the gym to 'warm up.')  I am NOT a dancer.  Seriously 1,2, 3 what? I can't keep a beat for anything.  And I'm not totally sure my feet or hips will ever be able to really do some of the moves but it keeps me moving and I still FEEL it the next day.  But the best part for me is how quickly the time flies.
If you are someone who bores easily, I would highly recommend Zumba.  But mostly, just stop making excuses and go find something you like.
I have been doing a wide variety of things from walking, to using weight machines, free weights and stationary bike.  I need a variety!

I still don't SEE it yet...but I'm down 12 pounds and 12 inches (over all)!
Trust me, if I can do it, YOU can too!

  1. Is it really choreographed though? That's where I can't hang.

  3. I love ZUMBA and just started up the program again 2 weeks ago. I'm seriously considering buying the tapes so I can do them at home

  5. Dancing, group class, perfect for people with ADD like me... It should be my workout of choice! But, I tried Zumba once and didn't like it that much. I only hear good stuff about it, so have a feeling I just took the wrong class. I'll have to give it another try.

  6. Woohoo! 12 lbs! That's awesome! I just joined the gym today again. I'll be going to zumba classes again, too. Tonight I did 2 classes equaling 1.5 hours. I'm sore already and my muscles are still shaking! Classes were over 1.5 hours ago.
