Boys and Girls Clubs of America are helping YOU Get Ready for Back to School

Many kids are already back in school this week but I'm thankful to have a couple weeks left before we start.  I'm so not ready. I have done most of my back to school shopping and we have registration tomorrow.  But I'm not mentally ready.  With all the changes in our life this summer, I'm just not ready for another major shift.  I think the kids probably are ready.  They're ready to see their friends again. And I know Timmy is excited about the challenges and new learning we hope 4th grade brings.  But as a single mom who is not yet managing our schedules well as it is, I'm not ready to add school, homework and extra activities back into the mix yet.  But ready or not...here it comes.  Whether you're like me or whether you're already doing the back to school dance on your kitchen table, Boys & Girls Clubs of America has some great information and programs you should check out to help you this Back To School season.

And BGCA has put together some great tips on time management for those, like me, who are struggling.  These completely logical tips and tricks are helping me get motivated to get organized this week for the new school year.

BGCA offers additional educational content and tip sheets for parents to download and utilize. You can find them on the left hand side of the BGCA site under the ‘Get Ready’ header.

I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Boys and Girls Club. I received a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.

  1. Michigan law requires public schools to wait until after Labor Day to start so I always loved that I had extra time with the kids!

And to be on topic, I really do think this is a fun way to help provide supplies to those in need. I'll go take that quiz!
