Dear Boys of Steubenville,
As a mom of three little boys, I wanted to take a moment to write you to express my condolences. I've heard a lot of people feeling sorry for you and the loss of your bright futures. I'm also sorry!
I'm sorry no one ever taught you to treat others the way you'd want to be treated.
I'm sorry no one ever taught you that even as an all star athlete, you are no better than anyone else as a human being.
I'm sorry no one ever taught you that every young lady you encounter is someone's daughter and possibly someday someone's mother.
I'm sorry no one ever taught you that you simply can't use another person's mind or body for your own enjoyment.
I'm sorry no one ever taught you how to stand up for those who can't stand up for themselves.
I'm sorry no one ever taught you that love and sex are not something to be taken lightly because every bit of that you throw around so casually is a little less you have to give to your wife someday.
I'm sorry no one ever taught you that you can be a man without abusing a woman.
I'm sorry no one ever taught you how to admit when you're wrong rather than scare those you've wronged into silence.
I'm sorry no one ever taught you humility or honor.
I'm sorry no one ever taught you that woman are people too.
I'm sorry no one ever taught you that rape is rape, regardless of how a girl dresses or parties.
I'm sorry no one ever taught you that not only does No mean NO, but the inability to say no, also means NO!
I'm sorry no one ever taught you that if all your friends jumped off a cliff...you didn't need to too!
I'm sorry no one ever taught you that beauty is more than skin deep.
I'm sorry no one is teaching you these things now.
I'm sorry that because no one taught you these things, you will never be true men.
Signed,
A Mom Who WILL Do Better

Very well written! Whether a male or a female, every person has their own body and it's theirs. If they say no, or anything that relates to it, that should be good enough.
