This was our yard last week. Thankfully we got almost no water inside our house. But many weren't so lucky. Roads in my hometown (and other Chicago suburbs) are still shut down thanks to massive flooding of the Des Plaines River.

This looks like my yard! I am your northern neighbor S.E. WI, so we have lots of rivers & streams flooding this year. so different that last year when we were parched for water.
