Not Me Monday

It's Monday again, even though it doesn't feel like it to me as its been days since I've been to work.

I did NOT stay in bed until 9am this morning. I would never be able to do such a thing considering Bryan woke up before 7am. I would immediately get out of bed and do some wonderful learning activity with him.

I did NOT feed my kids graham crackers for breakfast instead of some healthy oatmeal simply because...that's what they wanted AND it was easier. I'd never neglect my kids nutritional needs, that's just poor parenting.

Earlier this week I did NOT hold a lengthy conversation about our Christmas traditions all while my boob was being prepped, pushed and prodded. No I am much to modest to be able to behave normally while that sort of thing was going on.

I also did not actually utter the words, "It's really not nearly as bad as I thought" while a needle was hanging from my body. I am a total wuss when it comes to stuff like that so it MUST have been someone else.

While Christmas decorations were being put out, I certainly was NOT immature enough to ask why in the world the camel was sniffing a Wise Man's butt? I would never talk like that, especially in front of the kids. And I did NOT wait until my husband was asleep to turn the silly thing around because it STILL looked like its nose was in the poor guys tush.

While decluttering for our decorations I did not keep a ginormous stack of my Kindergartner's school papers. That would be entirely too pack ratish for me.

I definitely did NOT ask my older boys to keep an eye on the little guy so I could come right this list now. I never push my responsibilities off on my 5 and 6 year old.

Ans oh my gosh I did NOT just write FIVE and SIX! I couldn't have a 5 year old AND a 6 year old...that would likely mean I forgot to do a birthday post for my son who turned 5 last Thursday and I NEVER forget that sort of stuff.

I DO however wish everyone a wonderful Christmas. Yeah that's right I said Christmas, not Holiday!! I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful week. And even though its not (really not, not NMM not) the most important thing, I hope you might get at least one thing under the tree you've been hoping for.

  1. Hee hee!! I love this whole "not me" idea. If I was feeling awake enough to even try something as mentally challenging as this, I would do it! Maybe next MOnday or maybe the MOnday after...I'm trying to take a lil' break from the computer!

    Oh and YES! Merry Christmas!!
