Gratitude Games, A Review

When I heard the name of this product I was immediately intrigued. Gratitude is something that I have spent a lot of time working on in working through the 12 Steps of AlAnon (more on that some other time). I won't say gratitude comes naturally to me, by any means, but I truly thought I was getting the hang of this whole Gratitude thing. But then I checked out Gratitude Games. And let me tell you, its challenging. I've got to admit that while I originally thought it would be great for my kids when I read about it, I have yet to actually share it with them. Maybe I should to see f they could help me along but for now I'm working on getting myself where I feel like I can set the example. I think these 'Games' are perfect for everyone, whether you think you're grateful guru or you know you struggle to ever see the silver lining. There are so many pieces to this downloadable set that you'll be able to grow and share forever.
My favorite piece is the Grategories! This is the piece I'm spending time with. It includes 3 sets (Basic, Advaned and Adult) of cards, each with a topic on them. I'm still working on the basic set myself. But its amazing what you can unlock if you really spend some time finding something to be grateful for in what may sound like a totally ungrateful situation.

I think that LaSara has put together a truly inspiration set of games that you can read more about here.

  3. I haven't gone to a meeting in person in forever but do most of the stuff online. I haven't been doing what I need to lately but yeah AlAnon is the only reason I'm still sane at this point.

  6. Thanks for visiting my blog! I love your header, and your boys are simply precious. I thought I had commented back to you last night, but if I didn't, the name of the site where I ordered the shirts is simplycolors.com. And stop back because I will soon be posting all of the Spookley stuff we received from the author! It was really unreal. Happy weekend!
