Yet Another Jay and Deb Production.
It's been a rough week. Between illness and car issues, I MAY be a little stressed and on edge. This unfortunately means I have very little patience for some much of what comes with being a mom. Like flying chicken noodle soup and screaming babies. But today I want to remind myself what a blessing they are, and what an enormous honor it is to be their mother.
I also received an email today with a website that you can plug in the month and day of your birthday for you own birthday Bible verse. I thought this was sort of cool so here they are for my guys.
Timmy:
- Luke 11:9 “So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
To my tender soul. It's often hard for people to see the softness of your heart through all the noise and chaos but it is growing and shining more each day. Your passion is amazing and I love learning and growing with you!
Johnny:
- Matthew 12:18 “Here is my servant whom I have chosen, the one I love, in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him, and he will proclaim justice to the nations.
To my little goof ball. From your imaginary friend to your stories about your dreams, it's obvious that you have an amazing vision and I can't wait to see where that vision takes you in life.
Bryan:
- Colossians 1:29 To this end I labor, struggling with all his energy, which so powerfully works in me.
To my momma's boy. Oh how I love your laugh. There is no greater sound. The last year with you has been an amazing gift and I look forward to seeing how you grow and change in the next year.
And in case you're wondering, yes, in fact, I DID cry while writing this! Ok, back to our regularly scheduled sarcasm....
aw! What a sweet post. I love the verse for the birthday thing...what is that site? You may have posted it, I'll look back and see.
ReplyDeleteAnd, have I ever mentioned that I have a brother named Bryan? :)
Hope your week shapes up a little bit!
Oh Lisa I feel like this all the time. I am sure you understand how a working mom is always torn. Remembering the blessings that they are so important! Going to check out the website!
ReplyDeletejust wanted to say HI, I miss you. I rarely get online these days...kinda funny one minute I feel I spend t6oo much time on here, the next not enough! Hope the boys (all four of them) and you are well!
