It's all good in the 'hood

So today Timmy was in the Labor Day parade with the Cub Scouts.  We had several friends and family members join us to watch the parade.  We've been attending the parade since we moved here and its always a good day.  But this year with Timmy being in it we strayed from our normal location to the end of the route so we could easily get Timmy when we was done.  Unfortunately this new location brought a whole new class of people as well.  And it was NOT an improvement.  The people were ruder and most of the groups were out of candy before they got to us.  The marching band literally started undressing in front of us.  But we left after the first half of the parade when a pit bull got loose and began attacking people.  Despite being taken away by the police, after countless people, two animal control officers and 4 police officers were required to capture him, there was just no way to calm everyone back down to be able to enjoy the remainder of the parade.  So we left and came back to the house and grilled some burgers.

But to end on a good note, here are some photos of my super handsome young man. (And it only makes me SLIGHTLY sad to acknowledge that he's just that a little young man.)
