Broadway in Chicago Open House on Mag Mile

  • Broadway In Chicago will celebrate the new Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place by opening its doors to the public for exclusive tours and hosting a special appearances by the first cast to grace the stage of the new theatre, TRACES.

  • Saturday open house visitors will be treated to a special 15 % community discount valid at Macy’s store.

  • Broadway In Chicago will also host an exclusive sale of theater memorabilia to benefit Season of Concern and will include theatre photos, posters, programs and other souvenirs.

  • TRACES combines extraordinary acrobatic feats, music, film, narration and dance.  Seven performers deliver gravity-defying displays of skill that are fresh, urban and inventive.  The cast’s wide-ranging talent includes traditional Chinese acrobatics, balancing on each other's heads, tumbling through hoops and leaping spectacularly up giant poles without using their hands.  Poetic and explosive, funny and thoughtful, TRACES creates an experience that will surprise and delight all ages.  Individual tickets to TRACES are $50 - $71.50 and are currently on sale.  Tickets are available at all Broadway In Chicago Box Offices (24 W.   1. I remember the good old days when I had a subscription to Broadway in Chicago. In fact, for the first two (three?) years of its existence, I did. I haven't been to a Broadway in Chicago play since Wicked two years ago though. I miss it! I can't believe that was TEN years ago though!
