Special Christmas Episode of "Community"

"Community" is a smart comedy series about a band of misfits who attend Greendale Community College starring Joel McHale, Chevy Chase, John Oliver, Alison Brie and Yvette Nicole Brown
Remember all of the claymation stop-action Christmas specials when you were little?   NBC will be airing a special Christmas episode of "Community" featuring awesome stop-motion animation that will have everyone talking.  The episode airs this Thursday, Dec 9th @ 8pm EST/7pm CST on NBC.  Whether you celebrate Christmas or not, you'll get a kick out of this episode!

I just got done previewing the brand new episode of Community that will air tomorrow night.  I have to say I was skeptical.  I mean, claymation for a Christmas show, with this cast? It didn't seem like it would go well together, but it DID!  The stop motion is very well done, right down to the denting of cars.  But the best part is the writing.  I am blown away with how they were able to blend the snarky sarcasm that had me chuckling in the first seconds of the episode with some great sentimental Christmas feel.  I think this is a must see for anyone, regardless of what holiday who celebrate this time of year.  This show takes into account that the holidays aren't a perfect time for everyone but reminds us that if we focus on what's really important we can enjoy a great holiday.  And they do this all while making you laugh!

Check out these clips and then watch the episode tomorrow:
Thursday, Dec 9th @ 8pm EST/7pm CST on NBC
You can also watch past episodes online here!

Are you a fan of Community? I'd love to hear what you think of the show?

Disclosure: I previewed this episode as part of a One2One Network campaign.  I have been entered into a drawing for a chance to win prizes in return for this post, however all feedback is my own honest, personal opinion.

  1. I love the show, i just really like how it is so un-politically correct, in a way that makes us realise our own prejudices even if we don't say them.
