This is our second year in Cub Scouts but we're still experiencing first. This weekend we attempted our first Cubmobile. I wasn't really sure what to expect but we packed up our long sleeved shirts, helmets and knee/elbow pads and headed out. Once the rain past we were ready for some racing fun.
I'm not sure I have a Dale Earnhardt or Jimmy Johnson in the making on my hands. But they had fun! If your local district offers Cubmobile, I'd definitely recommend checking it out. I don't know if they all organize it the same way but we spent around an hour and half there to check in and watch all the boys from our pack race.
Looks like a lot of fun!! Great to see the good protection around the track and everybody wearing helmets ;) Fun activity!
ReplyDeleteWe did that one year, but the weather was so unbearably cold that nobody wanted to do it the next year. Too bad, because the actual races were fun. :)
