Wordless (Wordy!) Wednesday: Gibby and Guppy {linky}

Took the boys to a local church's Kids Day where Gibby and Guppy from Nick's iCarly made an appearance.  My kids all love iCarly so I thought they'd really get a kick out of getting to meet them.  But I was pleasantly surprised when Noah (Gibby) actually gave some testimony.  He is an active member of his local church (which his dad cofounded) and has been on mission trips etc.
So glad we went because I LOVE that my kids heard first hand from a young man they look up to about the importance of being part of church!!  The host church is also amazing and had a TON of other stuff for the kids to do.  If we lived closer they might have just won me over!
The photo above was taken by a voluteer and they cut Bryan out. :( But each of the boys got an autographed photo.
But we stood in line for almost an hour to see Noah (Gibby) and we're up for waiting in ANOTHER line to see Ethan (Guppy) so I just snuck a photo of him signing an autograph for someone else before heading off to check out the other activities.

The event was free but they asked for a donation of a box of cereal. I noticed MOST people didn't bring any but this was the stash by the end of the night to go to local charity.

  2. Wow! Gibby! My kids would've loved that too. I didn't know he's a Christian, a definite plus in my book. I knew I liked that kid :) Thanks for sharing, looks like it was fun.

  6. That is a great stash of food to go to help out a charity. I didn't know Gibby was a Christian either, that is awesome news. What a great experience. I know of iCarly because my 15 year old watches it and has sort of got me liking it.

  10. That stinks, considering you can get cereal practically for free when it's on sale and you have coupons.

  12. I love it when our kids can see celebrity kids that are on fire for Jesus. My son has had the opportunity to meet many athletes that aren't afraid to spread the Word and I love it.
