Activia Selects Review

New styles of yogurt that let you enjoy unique and delicious taste experiences!  New Activia Selects brings you great tasting, cultural recipes plus everything you already love about Activia.

Benefits:    On top of being incredibly delicious, Activia® Selects contain the unique probiotic culture Bifidus Regularis® (Bifidobacterium lactis DN 173 010) that helps to naturally regulate your digestive system, when consumed daily for two weeks as part of a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle

I have been watching the commericals for Activia since it came out and have wondered if it was something that would work my family, who shall we say has it's share of digestive problems.  But I never took the leap and tried it until this week.

With my crazy schedule of working full time, the kids sports, clubs and school activities and the things I have going with my blog, I don't eat very well. I mean, I'm a junk food junkie anyway, but with very little time to cook I have gotten even worse lately.  For me breakfast, while still eaten at my desk at work while I multitask, is one time I have been TRYING to not be so horrible.  I have been doing peanut butter toast or fruit. But I love the idea of yogurt for breakfast.  When I went to try Activia's new Selects, I couldn't decide on just one so I tried both the French variety in Cherry and Parfait in Strawberry.  As you can see from the photos (the color is off in some of them the yogurt is pink all the way through it isn't the kind you have to mix up) both varieties have fruit chunks in them.  I'm thinking this eliminates these as a choice to help my kids digestive issues as they won't touch a chunky yogurt.  But I thought they both had great flavor.  And I'd never done the parfait thing before, but I'm hooked. I'm not usually big into the chunky fruit yogurt either but with the crunchiness of the parfait, I really enjoyed it.  I could easily see this being a regular item on my breakfast (or lunch) menu.  I was also happily surprised to find the pink ribbon on these cups with codes for Give Hope with Every Cup!

I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Dannon Activia Selects Yogurt Series and received a coupon to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate. However, my opinions are entirely my own and I have not been paid to publish positive comments.
