Win 25 Die Cut Business Card

The blogging world has hit full conference buzz lately.  With Blissdom starting of the 2012 conferences with what I can only say based on tweets and photos, sounded like a big hit many bloggers are getting serious about the conference plans for the year.  For many of us that means updating our designs, head shots and our business cards.  I personally need new cards for my new blog, Bleacher Moms Blog which I hope to have in full swing by the time my summer conferences roll around. (I'm attending Brands and Bloggers Summit and BlogHer this year again.)

How about you? Could use some updated cards?  When designing your new cards spend some time thinking about who you plan to give them to and what you hope to gain from that.  I use my blog cards to give to basically three categories of people, potential readers, other bloggers and brand/PR contacts.  For potential readers I want a fun design to draw them in with an obvious blog address.  For other bloggers, I like having my photo on my card so they can remember me and hopefully continue our conversations via Facebook and Twitter. I also have my cell number on my cards for other bloggers so they can call or text me if they are trying to track me down at an event.  For brand or PR contacts I want to be sure my card is professional looking (have someone PROOF it for you) and provides several ways to easily contact me including my email.  For me UPrinting is a perfect place to get my cards because they have a great design interface that lets you truly customize your cards, FRONT AND BACK, which is helpful when you are trying to provide so much information to such a varied audience.
