#Mamavation Monday: Thank You

Its a new week and compared to last week, a new attitude!  Last week I had a one pound gain after working really hard. I felt defeated and then my schedule kept me away from the gym a couple of my usual days.  Being on the go also left me not using all my Weight Watchers points (because I wasn't tracking properly, ok schedule is an excuse I was indulging in a week long pity party)which had previously led to my only other gain.  I resolved that I was going to gain AGAIN.  I even proclaimed it on Facebook Friday night.  Then I got up Saturday and weighed in and has lost 6.8lbs!!!!!!!!

I couldn't believe it.  I know it will not be a normal thing. Averaging out with the previous week its still just over 3 pounds each week for the last two weeks. But that is still a great rate that I'm thrilled with. Yes I'd love to be one of those who lost 30 pounds in 3 weeks, but I'm not crash dieting.  I am really and truly relearning how to live.  I look at food differently. I move more and I feel better.

I wanted to share with you my excitement and thank all of you who've been so supportive through the good weeks AND the bad ones.  This week put my totally just over 25lbs gone!!!!!

  2. Lisa, that is just awesome! I'm at a plateau right now. I'm in too much pain these days (my back) to do to anything, other than work, and I do a lot of walking around my facility at night (I'm a RN).
