Provella Brobiotic Supplement Review

It seems as moms we end up so consumed by caring for our kids that we often neglect our own health.  I know personally, I will put off going to the Dr for weeks with symptoms that would have me bringing the kids in immediately.  Somehow we justify this to ourselves but I don't care how much we say it "do as I say, not as I do" really doesn't make for effective learning.  If we want our kids to take care of themselves, we need to model that behavior. This is the primary reason I have gotten off my duff this year and started trying to take control of my health.  From eating better to moving more, I am trying to lead by example.  One area I have still not stepped up in, is some basic preventative care. I haven't taken a vitamin since...well I wasn't even good at taking my prenatals with my last pregnancy but that would be the last time I took any!  And without going into too much detail, I don't have the best digestive health. I have ALWAYS had issues in this area. And it has improved some with healthier eating. But it clearly still isn't perfect.

So when I was given the chance to try Provella Probiotic Dietary Supplement, it seemed like the perfect chance to take another step in taking care of myself.

Provella is designed specifically for women to promote digestive, feminine, and immune health.* Taken once daily by mouth, Provella is available without a prescription behind pharmacy counters nationwide and at Drugstore.com.

I have been taking Provella for a couple weeks now and am very pleased with it.  It works quickly. I took if for the first time before bed and got results the next morning. And it's not like some scary RX side effect warning or anything, just the type of results you'd expect from corrected digestive function.  I will say that I checked with some friends who also take probiotics (of different brands) and found that the results are very typical of a good quality probiotic.  The only caution I have is that there does seem to be one common side effect for the first couple days as your body adjusts which is some extra gassiness. This took me about 3 days to normalize and wasn't anything horrific, just enough to be noticeable and make me ask a friend if it was normal.  Also I did forget to take it for a couple days in a row and you will quickly see the effects dissipate.  So this is clearly something I need to be vigilant about taking daily.   I DO feel better in general though and do plan to continue using probiotics on a regular basis as part of my healthier living routine!

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Provella. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for participating. 1. I am so proud of you. Since a lot of companies are coming out with gummies for adults I have gotten them. It's more fun that way. I have also set an alarm for everyday to remind me to take them. That has really helped me to stay on track. Good Luck!!

  2. I took probiotics for about 3 months and also had GREAT results. I haven't taken them in a while, simply because I forget to buy them, but I need to start back. I will definitely look out for the Provella brand. Thanks for sharing, Lisa!

  3. That's interesting because the gassiness is always what stops me from keeping on. I need to fight through that and get the good results you're getting!

  4. I've been using this for a few weeks now as well. I agree with you on the gassiness but other than that it is just fine. I'll be sharing my review soon.
