Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.
First of all, I have NOT let most of Monday go by without getting my NMM post done. No, I always have mine done and ready to go by Sunday evening.
I have NOT been sick for a full week now. My throat does NOT still feel like I have not one but two tennis balls in it all the time. My neck does NOT feel like it has more knots than a Boy Scout knows how to tie. And my voice does NOT suddenly disappear at random times, like when I try to answer the phone.
But if it all the above were true, it would NOT be a big deal because I am tough and never whine or complain.
I did NOT skip the boys football practice because of how I was feeling and the fact that I would have had to take all three boys myself.
I did NOT sit through their game the following day in 50 degree weather in just a T-Shirt because, it for crying out loud June, ya know!
I did NOT put of doing laundry all weekend because, what the heck no one but me has anywhere to go this week really.
I did NOT forget I had a meeting tonight and leave the house with all the boys TBall stuff in my van. And I am NOT relieved that it looks like all will be well because it's likely going to rain so practice will be canceled.
I have NOT come to the realization that my third child is beyond spoiled. I am NOT one of those moms who's thrown the rules out the window simply because I'm outnumbered and ovewhelmed. Nope NOT me. My 16 month old has NOT or does NOT do any of the following...still sleep i my bed, wake at night for bottles, use a bottle, yet demand soda, demand countless plays of annoying videos on my laptop, freak out if his father or I attempt to leave the room without him and simply thinks he's the king and every wish is our command.
I have NOT ate considering less than normal because of previously mentioned sore throat but probably still eaten way too many calories thru ice cream consumption because it TRULY did make it feel better.
And I am NOT praying that I feel better VERY soon because I have a few things coming up in the next couple weeks.
I feel your pain! I've been sick too, for two weeks. First it was a deep cough that made my voice go away, then I thought I was better, then I got chills and fever and more coughing. Finally went to the doctor...I have bronchitis!
ReplyDeleteFeelin' ya on the spoiled baby thing too!! Third child syndrome, maybe? Luke doesn't sleep with us or get up for bottles or even take a bottle anymore, but he does demand what he wants when he wants it, and even cries if his sisters leave a room without him. Brat!
I hope you feel better soon! I hear ya on the 3rd child thing, I have a 16 month old little queen here. What happened to me? LOL
