Our Pupppy, Snoopy, Loves Treats #iLoveMyK9 #CBias

I recently went shopping to create a puppy prep kit for our new puppy, Snoopy.  You can view my full blog post about my trip here.

I ended up with some treats, a cute collar and some training bells.  I put it together and we presented it to Snoopy as an early Christmas present!

He was way too excited about his present to sit still for photo for me no matter how much I begged.

He was not at all impressed with the collar, apparently he's not into fashion, or the bells, but I'm still holding onto hope that we can teach him to use them.  But the treats were a HUGE hit!

He immediatley started going nuts just from the smell, before we even opened anything.  The first thing we tried was Milo's Kitchen Chicken Meatballs because they looked almost good enough to eat (myself). Oh my goodness he was in heaven.  He took a minute or two to chew it up (I didn't read until later that I possibly should have broken it up for smaller dogs) and he was going CRAZY for more.  You don't get very many in a bag but for $2something a bag they make a good extra special treat for the puppy on your 'nice' list this Christmas.

Next we tried (and by we I mean I opened the package, gave a treat to Bryan who gave one to the dog to eat) the Pup-Peroni Combo Bites.  These are SUPER soft and Snoopy devoured one in seconds and was back sniffing like crazy for more.

Last we cracked open the tried and true Milk-Bone.  At that point I wondered if he'd think they were so great after the meatballs and soft combo bites but he was just as thrilled with the Milk-Bone treat.  He didn't take really long to crunch the small puppy sized bone up before he was back trying to convince us he deserved more!

For the rest of the night he was sniffing and looking and clearly wanting more treats.  I'd say there were ALL a big hit with Snoopy.  But I think they might have been just as great for Bryan as he was almost equally as excited to give them as Snoopy was to receive them. And, THAT my friends is really what this season is all about, isn't it??
