Toydozer Review

Do your kids love playing with LEGOS, K'Nex or other building sets but HATE to pick up their mess?  Toydozer to the rescue.  To test out just how helpful the Toydozer is I had one of my boys (8 year old) pick up a small mess 'the old fashioned way' and then the same exact mess with the Toydozer.  The difference in the time it takes might make all the difference when it comes to getting your kids to clean up after themselves.  And it really is easy enough for smaller kids too as my 4 year old also demonstrates in the video!

Fun for All Ages with K'Nex

In the world of toys, I've found that a lot of things have a pretty short life cycle.  I am often reluctant to buy the latest and greatest action figure because it is often only a matter of time before it disappears into the abyss of the toy box, most likely never to be reunited with its 'accessories' again.  But we've found that building sets seem to be an exception to this rule.  This is definitely the case with K'Nex who has some really great product lines for all ages!!

This set was great for my 4 year old.  He put these guys together himself and they are great to play with without having small pieces falling off.  He loves swapping their heads and giggling because they are on the "wrong bodies!"

My 8 year old loved these sets.  The are small enough to be put together in just a few minutes and be ready to play.  But they can also be used together to make larger creations by going online for the instructions.  Of course, you can always use your imagination too where the sky is the limit but I love that K'Nex has actually given them more building options with directions!  These were a big hit!!!

I'd say he had all four of these put togethre in around half an hour, definitely under and hour!  And for building sets, you can't beat the price. (Great for keeping around for last minute birthday party invites!)

My oldest is 9 and was totally excited about this set and had the tower all but done when he left it unattended and it was...slightly disassembled.  He was a little defeated and has not yet completed it.  But we still think its a fabulous set.  Just keep it away from the little ones and your 9 (or even a little younger if they are good builders) year old will do great with this set.  Hopefully I'll be able to show off the finished results soon!

There are lot of things my boys like but there aren't too many things they like better than video games and building set.  And now K'Nex has gone and created a video game inspired line!  Whether your child already loves K'Nex or not, every Mario fan will want these!

The boys  were thrilled to see these come out of the box.  They are relatively small sets that go together easily and are ready to be played with quickly.  

We have been fans of K'Nex for several years so I knew we'd love these new sets.  But I think these sets would make great gifts for the video game lover of any age.  The motorcycle does tend to come apart, into two halves, when really played with by my 3 year old.  But over all they are easy to put together in a couple minutes.  The boys love racing against each other just like in the video game and it still cracks me up that the Mario and standard Kart set comes with a banana!  

These sets will be on our list of things to purchase for the boys friends as they are invited to birthday parties.  They have the great appeal (peal, get it?) of some of their favorite video game characters but at a much more reasonable price point for gifting!!!  

I think K'Nex is totally on to something here and hope they will keep coming out with more items in this line!!

Note: These sets DO have very tiny pieces and are recommended for ages 6+.  We don't have a problem with my 3 year old putting small pieces in his mouth so he plays with these sets.  He would NOT have been able to put it together though.  My older boys (7 & 8) assembled them!
